Where do I start? Maybe the beginning would be most appropriate. We first had the privilege of working with Mark in early 2018 when our hunt for our first home began. Mark ensured there wasn’t a listing in our wheelhouse that we didn’t get to see, taste, touch, feel and offer on! He worked with us tirelessly to find a spot that was perfect for us. We are still in this home 3 years later and he has kept in consistent touch along the way. As we enter our next chapter, Mark has been an amazing steward to the market leap we are looking to make. Constantly drawing out features to benefits as well as major pros and cons, and reasons to believe or walk away from deals. It’s pretty nice being able to go at our own pace, and not feel the heat of someone else’s agenda. How stressful is it to sell and buy a house into the crazy Vancouver market/covid, soooo stressful! Well I can not say enough about Mark, he is the bomb: caring, responsive, understanding, etc. We sold our house before it was on the market within 6 hours after the only visit. We avoided the covid open houses and all that jazz. While trying to find a new house, Mark came to every single house we visited and provided insights. We finally found our new dream house which in this market is a miracle since there were 8 offers (Mark made it happen for us). Mark is very strategic and has good advice on how to proceed. If there was a 10,000,000 star option, I would give that many stars to this rockstar of a real estate agent. We have known Mark for a few years now, and he has helped us already with a couple Vancouver home purchases. His professional attitude, honesty, integrity and willingness to work hard to find us a home that suites our needs, is more than I could ask for in an agent. He’s the type of guy that knows the home that will be right for you, before you even know it. Despite us asking him to show us around multiple properties that he knew weren’t right, he made sure to meet all of our requests and let us come to our own conclusion. At each property, he would help to guide us with his professional opinion by asking questions and truly understanding our needs and wants. He picked out reasons a property would or would not be appropriate and was always bang on with his assessment of our needs and a property that would fit that need. Most importantly, he was honest. He knows that this is a major purchase for any new or existing home buyer, and finding the right place can be an emotional rollercoaster. While discussing our wishes and viewing properties, he would always come back to the discussion around the pros and cons of how that place fits our needs and wasn’t afraid to be honest. If he knew a place wasn’t right for us, he would lay it out for us why it may not work - which helped us to avoid a potential purchase that we might come to regret.
